Terms of Service

1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AntiqFinds ("Service"), operated by Apex Haven Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong SAR ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
2. The Service
AntiqFinds uses advanced image recognition to identify antiques, vintage objects, and collectibles from photographs you upload, and provides estimated value ranges and historical context.
3. Identification Disclaimer — IMPORTANT
Identifications and value estimates produced by AntiqFinds are automated estimates and are for informational and entertainment purposes only. They are NOT a professional appraisal, authentication, or guarantee of authenticity, age, origin, or market value.
Do not rely on AntiqFinds results for insurance, sale, purchase, tax, legal, estate, or any high-stakes decision. Always consult a qualified, licensed appraiser, auction house, or domain expert before acting on results. We make no warranty as to accuracy and accept no liability for losses arising from reliance on automated output.
4. Accounts
Some features require an account. You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old.
5. Pricing & plans
- Free: 3 scans per day at no cost.
- Pay-per-scan: US$0.99 for a pack of 5 additional scans (one-time purchase, non-expiring).
- Unlimited subscription: US$4.99 per month for unlimited scans and premium features. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.
Prices are in US dollars and exclude any local taxes, which our payment processor (acting as merchant of record) will add where required.
6. Cancellation & refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. See our Refund Policy for full details.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload illegal, infringing, or harmful content.
- Upload images you do not have the right to use.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract our models.
- Resell or rebrand the Service without written permission.
- Use the Service to defraud buyers or misrepresent items for sale.
- Abuse, automate, or circumvent free-tier limits.
8. Your content
You retain ownership of images you upload. You grant us a limited licence to process them solely to provide the Service. We may use aggregated, de-identified data to improve our models.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including software, design, branding, and identification models, is owned by Apex Haven Limited and protected by intellectual property laws.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including financial loss from acting on automated estimates.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. You may close your account at any time.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Hong Kong, except where mandatory consumer protection law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
